Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. Advances MAAMBA 100MWac PV Solar Power Project in Zambia

Recently, the MAAMBA 100MWac PV Solar Power Project in Zambia, constructed by Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd., successfully completed the centralized dispatch of core equipment, while onshore construction has simultaneously entered a new phase of accelerated progress.

From the very beginning, the project faced multiple industry challenges, including stringent technical standards, tight construction schedules, and lengthy logistics cycles. In response, the project management team remained steadfast in its strategic goals, responding with scientific and composed measures. Through systematic planning and efficient collaborative coordination, the team successfully seized the initiative in project scheduling, laying a solid foundation for the project's timely and high-quality completion.

In the design phase—the technical core of project advancement—the technical team meticulously formulated weekly drawing production and approval closure plans. Despite the time difference, regular drawing review meetings were organized with the Zambian client, overcoming geographical and time-zone barriers through high-frequency, in-depth communication. This significantly improved both the rate of drawing completion and the efficiency of approvals, providing reliable technical support for on-site construction and fully demonstrating the professional expertise and technical competence built upon "accumulated strength."

Procurement efforts focused on the dual objectives of quality control and delivery assurance. The team adopted multi-channel sourcing and fully competitive market strategies, strictly managing the delivery timelines across the entire supply chain. Adhering to the core principles of "early deployment, process optimization, and strong control," the procurement of critical path equipment was completed efficiently and on schedule, injecting strong momentum into the overall project progress. When logistics and transportation encountered disruptions due to intermittent closures at the destination port, causing bottlenecks in both port and road transport, the team swiftly activated emergency response mechanisms. By dynamically adjusting backup plans, they minimized adverse impacts and ensured the timely dispatch of core equipment, demonstrating the highly efficient adaptability of "forging ahead" through professional crisis management.

Facing practical challenges such as the scarcity of local construction resources, the on-site project team continuously optimized construction organization plans, achieving efficient resource coordination and allocation. Personnel and equipment mobilized as planned, and various tasks—including temporary site facilities, foundation excavation, and equipment receiving and inspection—proceeded in an orderly and standardized manner.

As Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd.'s second landmark clean energy power generation project in Zambia, the MAAMBA project has garnered significant attention from local communities and stakeholders. The professional execution capabilities and efficient service of the project management team have earned high recognition and praise from both the client and local parties. This project holds pivotal strategic significance for the optimization and upgrading of Zambia's national energy structure. It serves as a powerful practice of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd.'s positioning as a "comprehensive clean energy service provider" and stands as an important pillar for Sino-African economic and trade mutual promotion and pragmatic cooperation. This marks the tangible realization of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd.'s core philosophy of "building momentum through dedication and forging ahead" on the stage of China-Africa cooperation.
